Launched in Spring 2016, the Tufts Nutrition Council (TNC) is a volunteer leadership group for the Gerald J. and Dorothy R. Friedman School of Nutrition Science and Policy. The TNC brings together volunteer leaders from diverse backgrounds who share our passion for nutrition and health, with a particular focus on how our food and food systems influence our communities, our environment, our families and ourselves.
The goal of the TNC is to build a circle of key friends, supporters, and ambassadors who will help us achieve our shared aims for positive impact while also enjoying the great experience of a close relationship with a premier nutrition institution. We seek members who are passionate about what we eat and grow, whether for health, food systems, equity, or sustainability; and who believe in supporting and leveraging our broad vision and mission with their time, expertise, resources, and/or network of friends and colleagues.
