General Research: 

The identification and treatment of severe acute malnutrition, community-based programming, the nutritional support of people living with HIV, delivery science and institutional capacity building for nutrition in emergencies.

Current Research: 

The operational effectiveness of community case management of severe acute malnutrition in Bangladesh. ‘Milk Matters’: linking livestock interventions to child health and nutrition in pastoralist areas of Ethiopia

Past Research: 

The development and testing of community-based therapeutic care (or community-based management of acute malnutrition [CMAM]). Use of community-based approaches to manage acute malnutrition in people living with HIV.
